Boxing: Boxing News: In addition to his boxing prowess, Floyd Mayweather also understands how to make money. ‘Money’ Mayweather competed in boxing bouts that brought him millions of dollars. He did not, however, limit himself to fighting; in 2007, he established his own Promotion. Even though it wasn’t on the same level as Matchroom Boxing or any other company, it did have some great boxers, and Gervonta Davis is one such fighter. However, Davis’ lengthy alliance with Mayweather and his promotional company has ended as a result of the expiration of his contract. And he has officially separated from the promotion. This news left fans somewhat dumbfounded and was met with a mixed reception. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to know why he left the promotion and Mayweather’s response.

For the majority of his career, Mayweather’s Promotion has promoted his fight, thus everyone was absolutely startled. Meanwhile, during the press conference before his upcoming match against Hector Luis Garcia on January 7, 2023, he explained why he quit the promotion after contract ended. And he also have some huge conments to offer avout his experience at Mayweather Promotions that are as follow:

He stated, “This just a test run right now, just on my own type of joint. But much love to Mayweather Promotions, Leonard, Floyd, all them guys. I definitely appreciate them but I’m just doing my own thing now. I’m not saying in the future we can’t work together or anything like that.”

Well, Davis made it very obvious that he has no bitter feelings against Mayweather or the promotion; he simply wants to do things in his own way, and that is the main reason he left what he said. There are rumours that Eddie Hearn made him a $10 million deal, though. It will be intriguing to see his future movements.

Notably, Mayweather subsequently responded to it after all of this. He stated, “There’s nothing like taking a kid from the same background as you, helping them become a multi-millionaire… If he feels he’s grown wings so he can fly and be his own boss, more power to him.”

Mayweather, like Davis, has no ill will against him and is looking forward to seeing him accomplish things on his own. He also appreciates their time together and has encouraged him to go further.
